VidSqueeze is a browser-based video compressor. We designed it so your selected video can be processed on your device instead of uploaded to our servers.

Video processing

When you choose a video, VidSqueeze reads it through your browser and creates temporary local object URLs for metadata, preview, and encoding. The video is not sent to a VidSqueeze upload endpoint, stored by VidSqueeze, or processed on a VidSqueeze server. Temporary browser memory and object URLs are released when you reset the tool or leave the page, subject to your browser’s normal behavior.

Preferences

Compression preferences may be saved in your browser’s local storage so the tool can remember settings such as target size, output format, and quality. These preferences do not contain your video file and are not sent to VidSqueeze.

Advertising and consent

VidSqueeze uses Google AdSense to support the site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to serve, measure, and protect advertising, subject to your consent choices and applicable regional settings. Google’s consent-management message may appear where required and provides options to consent, refuse, or manage choices.

You can review Google’s information about how it uses data for advertising in Google’s partner-site policy. You can also change advertising and consent choices through the controls shown by the site or your browser.

Requests and technical data

Like most websites, the hosting and delivery services used to serve this page may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, and time of request for security, delivery, and reliability. VidSqueeze does not operate an account system, collect video uploads, or maintain an analytics profile for users.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site, advertising configuration, or applicable requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
