The core workflow is designed around the browser’s media capabilities. Your source video is not sent to a VidSqueeze upload endpoint or stored in a VidSqueeze account. The browser handles metadata, preview, encoding, and the output download.
Honest compatibility.
Video support depends on the browser and device. VidSqueeze detects available recording paths and only presents formats the current browser reports as supported. Current Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are the most reliable paths for local WebM encoding; mobile support should be tested on the device you plan to use.
Built for practical sharing.
Target-size controls help prepare clips for chat, email, social media, websites, and other services with file limits. The result card reports the actual output size because browser encoders cannot guarantee an exact target before processing.
